New Bosch Kiox 500 Display for the smart system

It’s EuroBike time, which means a lot of new product announcements this month. (Did you notice the Tern HSD announcement?)

Bosch released several MY24 updates which I’ll be covering in separate posts so that I can add to them as I get more details. The ones that stood out to me are the new Bosch Flow+ app, Bosch display customizations, PowerMore 250 external add-on battery, Active Line and Active Line Plus motors coming to the smart system, eShifting (!), Bosch Purion 200 display, and the new Bosch Kiox 500 display.

Bosch Kiox 500 Display Details

  • Same functions as the Kiox 300 but 40% larger
  • 2.8″ diagonal screen
  • It emits sound to help with navigation
  • Customizable screen with an update this summer
  • It appears to use the same mount as the Kiox 300
  • MSRP: $167 MSRP
  • Buy here

Who is the Bosch Kiox 500 for?

I see this really fitting in well for people that are going to use the Bosch navigation or someone that simply needs larger text and icons, especially when biking you want to be able to look down at a glance and see what you need.

Wrapping Up

I’ll keep updating this post as I learn more info and have a hands-on review of the unit. Let me know what questions you have in the comments below.

  2. Is this removable for people who live in inner cities? (theft protection!)
I currently have Intuvia that easily clips on/off on my Tern HSD SII
