Tern Orox R14

$8,999.00
The Tern Orox is an adventure-ready cargo bike. With the ability to go through or up about anything with the 27.5 x 4" tires and also carry a pretty heavy load, this cargo bike really blurs the lines of what the bike is capable of doing and what the rider should be doing.

  1. you can choose not to use it / turn it on 🙂

  2. Eric – I’m actively writing an initial review of the new Aventon Abound SR, that may be the bike for you! https://geni.us/abound-sr

  3. Hey Keith!

In the US, yes it would be the “closest” due to the 20″ wheels but I personally can’t recommend the Yuba due to their cable steering.

  4. Which ever one has more energy runs down until they are the same and then they seem to daisy chain like the DualBattery.

  5. The Spicy Curry is a great bike. Which version do you have? the new cargo line motor is the most torque you’ll find.

  6. So happy to hear you found the right bike for you! What type of terrain are you riding on with the Multicharger?

  7. Great to hear! What are your unique needs for the Multicharger?

  8. Thanks for the review, Shaun!!

  9. Thanks, David! I knew we would be friends when I first saw your Xtracycle!

  10. Thanks for the feedback! Erich – are you the person on the FB group that made their own?

  11. What an amazing review, thanks for all the details!

  12. Amazing, I love to hear this!

  13. This is a great review!! Thank you so much for all the details.

  14. Deb! Thanks so much for chiming in. Have they adjusted the handlebars back for you?

  15. Amazing review, thank you for all the detail!!

  16. That’s awesome to hear. I’m also a fan of keeping the kids in the seats for as long as they will stand unless it is awfully hot.

    Thanks for sharing!

  17. Oh, I am loving your blog!

  18. In Colorado, they were actually advocates for biking.

  19. We didn’t personally try it

  20. Smart system would have put this bike over $4,500, without the bells and whistles. 🤷🏻‍♀️

  21. The only reason it should be a deal breaker is if you want to personally have multiple bikes on your account. I share a smart system bike and simply made the Kiox the “key” to unlock the alarm and GPS.

  22. Thanks for the comment! I would love to hear more about how you are using it, please keep me updated 🙂 I’ll also work on that GPS video for you.

  23. Earliest I’m seeing is end of July to the US distributor!

  24. Looking forward to your comparison between the two!

  25. Thanks for sharing your story, Chris! Let me know how we can support your goal of advocacy!

  26. Hey Chris! they are only compatible with the Smart System

  27. Thanks for the comment! Yeh, 65Nm is good but not for hills with that much haul. How much weight is she dealing with including the bike, all humans, accessories, and trailer?

  28. Karl – I’m so glad you had a great experience!

  29. Hadar, it is so great to see your experiences in your HSD! Thank you for sharing this review!

  30. Please share your story!! Enter your city and country is fine 🙂

  31. Thank you so much, Bob! Glad you are loving your HSD

  32. Thank you for the comment 🥰

I’m so glad you love the NBD! That is a wonder bike that I wish more people knew about.

  33. Thank you! I assume they are using the m-series from Bafang? Do you know which ones are available in North America?

  34. That’s amazing to hear! Are they shifting better now?!

  35. It sounds like you have a great fleet of bike options! Thanks for joining 🙂

  36. So wonderful to hear, thanks for joining us!!!

  37. The twist shift used to be so nice. The new microshift is awful 🙁

  38. Simon, thank you so much for taking the time to leave a great review!!
