I have owned my Orox s12 for a few months now and have just ticked over 1,000km. I have to say it’s a lovely bike and extremely capable. The thing that I love the most about this bike is it’s go anywhere ability, I have always commuted though a forest to work but have previously had to stick to the graded trails. Now I get to take the far more fun shortcuts down the hillsides and it just eats it up.
It’s also still very capable as a family bike. I regularly carry 2 or 3 children on the bike with no issues, I even carry my wife and friends around when possible. We recently went camping on the bike, 3h riding from home with no issues at all, I took the Orox and my wife took our old GSD, between us we could carry everything we needed with our 2 and 5yo children on the Orox.
All round a very fun very capable bike.

+ PROS: + Incredible range with 1.6kWh of battery capacity (both batteries fitted) you will run out of day well before you run out of battery. + This bike goes anywhere you dare take it. I am definitely the limiting factor on this bike. + Paint work is a lot tougher than other terns I've owned and despite repeated hits to the frame with the huge bike chain I have and a few crashes the paint remains immaculate. + The smart system is a real upgrade from the BES 2 system. There are so many different options to display various riding metrics and data points. Also every night my bike uploads my days riding directly to Strava for me. + I mean look at it, it's beautiful. +The gear range is huge! This thing can climb any grade with relative ease.
- CONS: + The centre stand is borderline dangerous, it's quite unstable, it bangs and it adjusts it's self far too often. You definitely can't leave your children on the bike unless you are holding onto it. + I am 183cm and could see the 800mm bars being a problem for some riders. They are easily cut down though.
