The HSD Gen 2 P5i shorttail cargo bike is a new model for Tern using the internal Nexus inter-5e hub, specifically designed for the demands of electric bikes. Thanks to the great color options, Gates belt drive, and internal geared hub, this is going to be a very popular model for Tern.
The easy step-on fit, adjustability from the Andros stem, and ability to fold the handlebar out of the way to store the bike vertically on the rear rack or roll it in small SUVs are brilliant. This is certainly a more premium-priced cargo bike, but if you are looking to make a long-term investment, then you can’t go wrong with the combination of Tern Bikes and Bosch eBike smart system.
