We got this bike to replace local car trips during the warmer months. Despite living in suburban USA and having two young kids, we average 4 to 5 miles daily on it. It really is the minivan of bikes like everyone says. We got the Clubhouse for the back and strapped a milk crate on the front; now it can do everything from dropping the kids at preschool to picking up the week’s groceries to knocking out a 10-mile joyride before sunrise. The assistance is buttery smooth, with enough power to get you up hills but enough subtlety that you still get your exercise. And even at this price, there’s a good argument it will save us money overall.
