Aluminum hydroframed with carbon fork, change the spec and you have three different levels of Raleigh’s new womens road line.   There are some thoughts I walk away with after looking through the line.  First off, I don’t understand the geometry and will look more into it with Raleigh.  I wish they would bring the smaller 45cm through the whole sizes, especially since it has a 495mm top tube!  Until I have more answers, here’s the 2011 Raleigh Capri womens line up…

Raleigh Capri 4.0

A pretty standard price range for the 2011 Shimano Ultegra 6700 womens bikes.  I’m glad to see Raleigh getting into the line, but I’m upset to see the dropped the size 45cm for their top end womens bike.

Details: Shimano Ultegra compact crank, Ultegra Shifters/derailleurs and 105 brakes. Sizes: 49, 52, 54, 56cm

Raleigh Capri 3.0

Same frame as the rest of the line up, with hydroframed frame and carbon fork.   New Shimano 105 5700 parts and a very solid build for

Details: Shimao 10speed 5700 drivetrain with Compact & 11-28t gearing. . Sizes: 45, 49, 52, 54, 56cm

Raleigh Capri 2.0

Same frame as the rest of the line up, but Raleigh takes a couple steps down on components jumping from 105 to Sora (where did Tiagra go?)
