The newest and fastest women’s bike goes by the name Amira. Engineered for speed, efficiency and light weight, the Amira uses advanced FACT IS construction, women’s performance geometry and a stiff, oversized head tube with a taper to deliver race-ready performance like no other women’s bike on the market.

Amira Expert starts at $3300 and the Comp list at $2700.  With both of these bikes the frames are full carbon, outfitted with 10 speed Shimano parts.  Dependent on the bike it may be 105 (mid line parts) or Ultegra (higher end parts.)  For a full carbon 10 speed bike <$3500 these bikes are both great.  I’ll be keeping my eye out for one to test ride for a better ride report.

For 2010 they are going even deeper with the line and adding more color.  The women are staying pretty subtle but the mens line have a lot of orange through out.

RXL Road

This model is new for 2010, originally they womans line went only to RL, this year you will see lighter, stiffer shoes available for women.  Only available in one color, the silver with blue highlights.

Black and gold shoes, with the color option they are going to either hit the market hard and every fast girl will want them.  Or the shoe will sit on my shop floor until we can discount them.  The shoe has a shiny finish, which I think will be easier to clean as a dirty mountain bike shoe gets.   I want to trade in my black and blue pair from 2009 and go to the carbon fiber, light weight “bling” shoe!

Finally a price effective triathlon shoe for women that is going to fit like a glove!  Our most popular tri shoe is the Sidi T2 which retails for $279.99.  White has been proven to be the fastest color on a bike so this shoe is really going to do well in the womans tri market.

7000 Series

The 7000 series from Trek is a tradition hybrid.  A cross between a mountain and road bike with a great upright fit to it.  The 7000 is the base model from Trek made out of aluminum with 21 speeds, and a shock absorption seat post.

Skye Series

New for 2010 is the Skye line of entry level mountain bikes.  Multiple levels, with their own naming hierarchy. Four different models and colors ranging from $359 to $639.
