Chrome Storm Pasha Women’s Cycling Jacket

2 Chrome Storm Pasha Jacket

It’s that time of the year. Unless you live in some odd part of the country that doesn’t receive seasons, fall is hitting you smack in the face. You may get caught in a cold rain, or have a headwind chilling you to the core on a late night commute.

Chrome has released a new jacket just for those reasons.

Meet the Chrome Storm Pasha

The Storm Pasha features fully-taped 100% waterproof breathable Chrome Storm™ technology. It has a bike-friendly fit for comfortable riding, pit zips and two way main zipper for active venting, a zippered back cargo pocket for cell phone and keys, and reflective details so you can be seen at night.

Features and Fit

  • Fully seam taped construction with waterproof Tactel nylon fabric
  • Zippered pit vents for on bike ventilation
  • High neck collar with 3 panel hood
  • Full width pass through back cargo pocket
  • Longer sleeves and torso for riding comfort
  • Waterproof two way main zipper for on bike ventilation

Personal thoughts on the Storm Pasha

I wish there were more colors, or at least color hits to make the jacket pop out in the dark while riding on the streets. Black is sexy and clean, but so is not dying. Once I get my hands on one I’ll be sure to let you know the fit and durability!

2013 Surly Bikes Preview

2 2013 Surly Bikes Cross Check

I’ve been biased to the Surly brand since 2003. This is about when I purchased my first Karate Monkey “29er” and then again in 2004 when I picked up a hidden stock of the pink 1×1. Since then I’ve had many bikes with the Surly logo stickered down the side. Multiple Karate Monkey’s, a Long Haul Trucker, a Big Dummy and Steamroller.

There hasn’t been much change to the 2013 Surly lineup, some colors, a 14″ Pugsley and of course, the Krampus.

Disclaimer: I am now the Southeast rep for Surly. If you buy a new Surly Bike in NC, SC, TN, AL or GA, from an independent bicycle dealer, I will make money from it. I encourage it, and look forward to being able to afford a Krispy Kreme donut in your honor.

Preview: Chrome Dolores Shoes

3 Chrome Dolores Review

For the past few years I have heard the spectrum of reviews on Chrome’s shoes. Chrome, known first for their made in the US bags that started in Colorado. Now the company is based out of San Francisco and has probably 3/4 of their line made over seas. This isn’t necessarily a bad thing, just putting some back story out there.

Back to Chrome’s shoes

Chrome has been making “bike specific” sneakers for a few years now. Gum bottom or SPD ready, these shoes were made for those that live on their bike and want to look the part. Available in three different series, the PRO Series has the SPD compatible clip-in, the Pedal Series has a fiberglass sole for better pedaling, and the All City Series with stronger uppers and not so stiff sole.

Earlier this month Chrome released a new shoe into their All City Series it is also their first WOMENS shoe, the Dolores. Read the preview by clicking read more..!

Capo Cycling – an italian made cycling clothing company has released a new line of women’s cycling clothing. It includes a jersey in two colors, shorts with a comfy yoga waistband and knickers. Civia Cycles Twin City Review

1 Civia Cyles Twin City

Civia Cycles Twin City Charleston

As a rep for Quality Bicycle Products I rep many brands, one of them is Civia Cycles. A brand that is near to my aesthetic craving heart. Their tag line is “Beautiful Neighborhood Bikes.” As someone that has a Civia Cycles Loring decked out with wooden fenders, a wooden front front loader and beautiful spring Brooks saddle I love it. Recently I became very intrigued with a newer model in the line up.
