I realize that it’s not Monday but hear me out…

For many years I ran a series called “Motivational Monday”. I’m relaunching this to showcase women, trans, and gender non-conforming people that work in the bike industry. Tag your favorite women, trans, and gender non-conforming people that work in the industry below or wave your hand (and include your email) if you would like to be profiled!

    1. This person is a motivational force in many lives, I believe. I’ve crossed their path a couple of times over the past few years. We both worked as volunteers on the same research project in 2015 for the MN Bicycle Coalition. They started working for Cycles for Change (C4C), a nonprofit grounded in the values of equity, justice, inclusion and self-empowerment last year, and an organization that I follow closely. Over the last year their posts and events through C4C and Grease Rag Ride & Wrench have been educational and inspirational.
Most recently, Anneka interviewed me for the Executive Director position of C4C. I did not make it to the second round of interviews but during the interview, I could feel their passion and depth of leadership. I wondered why they were interviewing for an ED rather than accepting the position themselves.
Seriously, a true cycling industry badass.
