QBP Is Looking for WOMEN for Their Summer Internships

One of my best experiences in the bicycling industry was working for QBP. The company is pushing barriers and moving things forward. They have taken another large step forward to creating a better bike industry by offering summer internships at their headquarters, for women.  Read through the press release for full details, or skip to the link at the bottom to apply!

From QBP:

If you’re a woman-identifying undergraduate student searching for a unique summer internship, Quality Bicycle Products has an incredible opportunity for you. QBP is currently looking for curious and enthusiastic individuals interested in spending the summer learning and growing in its Bloomington, MN headquarters. Five paid internship experiences will be available, one in each of the following fields: Graphic Design, Engineering, Industrial Design, IT, and Sales.

“We’re looking for students who have a strong passion for bikes, innovative business, and making an impact on their communities,” says Alix Magner, QBP’s National Sales Manager. “The goal of this program is to encourage talented women to explore careers in the bike industry, while also increasing the presence of women in cycling as a whole.”

QBP is a bicycle company that, in addition to distributing products from the best brands in the industry, also designs and builds its own innovative, world-class brands. At QBP, purpose comes before profit. With its motto “more butts on bikes,” QBP’s mission is to make the world a better place, to be an extraordinary business to partner with, and to be a great organization to work for. As parent company for leading brands like Salsa Cycles, Surly Bikes, 45NRTH, All-City Cycles, and Foundry Cycles, QBP has made been accomplishing that mission for over thirty years.

If you’ve got a passion for working on a team that shares your love of bikes, the outdoors, and everyday adventures, head over to qbp.com/careers for more information on internship details and application submission. This ten-week long internship begins in mid-June 2016 and runs until mid-August.
