Commuter Bike: The Salsa Casseroll

I’ve done tons of posts elsewhere in the web about the Salsa Casseroll.  It could be one of the most universal bikes I have ever purchased (besides the Surly Karate Monkey.)  Geared, internally geared, single, drop bars, flat bars, rear rack, no rack, chainguard, mud flaps, and the list of what this bike frame can do is endless.

Currently my Salsa Casseroll has been fit up with a Alfine internally geared hub system, Surly bars, and an upright commuter feel to it.   During the winter I slap on a dynamo hubed wheel to the front, fenders and ready to hit all types of conditions!  This is the bike I am leaving at my office as a work commuter for when I carpool or need something more relaxed for errands from the office!

Here are a few quick snap shots from a short errand I biked today!
