Making the Bike Yours

Recently, I witnessed a customer taking a standard 2010 Cervelo P3, and making it hers.  With a little help from a co-worker this lady turned a standard (very beautiful) P3, uniquely hers.  White handlebars, white stem and red bar take really turned this dream bike into her dream bike.

What have you done to your own bike to do this?  None of my bikes are stock, nor have they been from day one.  Normally the first thing I switch out is saddle and handlebars, to something that fits me better.

  • The saddle is #1 priority for me (pink San Marco), and always, brand new pink handle bar tape!
    Enjoy your bike!

  • Patrick Zyduck says:

As a commuter, I added a cage to hold my morning coffee, keeping it close for easy access during the commute. Also, as a guitar player, I added guitar shaped pedals.

  • Beautiful bike and beautiful site re-design!

When I got my Felt F4 last Christmas, I went with red for the saddle, bar tape and tires. With the black frame, she looks wild and mean.

I’m considering sanding down my cross bike (very cheap frame) to the metal and riding it bare for something more unique.
