Titus Racer X. Couldn’t find a Juliana when I was looking for a fs mtn bike.

Although the Racer X isn’t marketed as women specific it’s a perfect fit for me, a 5’1″ rider.

I bought it because I was just getting into mt biking, the boyfriend had a Fisher (which I had borrowed, and liked), and the price was right (on sale for $800 or something) I bought it in 2005 or so…

I’m thinking of getting a full suspension bike, and though I’ve never felt the need for a women’s specific frame (my road bike is also a men’s frame), I might give it a try this time. This Juliana is beautiful….

I ride a 2000 Kona Pahoehoe…at the time I wanted an aluminum hardtail and I’ve always loved Kona.

Also, a nice aside,the Juliana is named for Juliana (Juli) Furtado who dominated women’s MTB Cross Country in the early 90′s. At the height of her success, she was diagnosed with Lupus and was forced to quit racing. She has always been a hero of mine.
