Girl Scout Fighting for Crosswalk

CrosswalkA young, 10 year old, girl in New Jersey is fighting for the right of safety to cross the road from school.  For all the talk we are giving about Safe Routes to School and helping childhood obisety hopefully the Girl Scout and local town can find a good middle ground for the young girl to have to chose between walking home alone or crossing a busy intersection.

NATIONAL PARK Ten-year-old Emily Sztenderowicz has two choices when she walks home from school: Go alone so she can utilize the crossing guards posted near the school, or walk with a friend and have to cross busy Hessian Avenue.
